Something Happened!!!
People! Something actually happened at the rental! We have insulation installed!!!!!
This ends the 3-month wait for insulation. Now we can finally get drywall and stucco done. Actually, the stucco is already done which is awesome. We are moving on in construction for the first time since late February. 🥳
Also, for a fun perk, we found out that the HOA includes water for the property. Why didn’t we know that before? Simple. They didn’t know that either. So yay! The rental will include water for the tenants. One less bill for them to pay.
Lastly, they updated the closing timeframe in the system to September. They finally caught up to my initial guess! 😂 I am actually a bit relieved by this since all of the homes that I get paid on should have closed by then. So, we’ll have all the funds needed to close ready to go by the time September rolls around.
We are past what was the worse delay. There is still more than likely going to be a delay on cabinets, but that shouldn’t be the same length as what this was. Shouldn’t being the keyword. We’ll see when we get there. For now: Yay for progress!

Yayyyy, forward progress!!!!! I know I’ve said it before but you have so much more patience than I do. 🤣 Also, as a renter, I can say that having water included is definitely a bonus! (We don’t anymore but it was nice while we did.)
Well, patience is a requirement with construction right now. It’s forced on you so you eventually go…well, fine. It is the way it is. lol
Yeah, learning about the water being included with nice. Going to cover trash as well since that’s not very hard. They will have electric and cable on their own.
