Maxed out 401K for 2021!!!
I am still in shock, in a good way. This is amazing to me. The first time I maxed out my 401K was last year. That took a lot of effort and happened towards the end of the year. Hell, I remember when $19,500 was my total yearly income. 😂 Now, my 401K is maxed out with seven months left to go in the year. Just wow.
I know this is in large part due to a crazy real estate market right now. It’s still fairly busy, and pricing is still going up. I know this will not last forever, but it’s awesome while it’s here.
That’s one goal for the year down. 🙂 Onto the next one (after the mandatory one week of basking in success).

Hit another 100k milestone (saved/invested) and quit my job! Going well so far, and I still have job offers coming in every week or so (including this morning while I was on the golf course!)

Yay congrats!! I love the feeling of maxing out any investment vehicle for the year.
We’re sticking with slow and steady progress this year. Keeping our jobs intact, surviving infancy, not losing our minds entirely with both kids home, you know. The basics. 😬
