Goal Achieved: Down Payment for Investment Property
It’s official! We have the cash to close (full down payment and closing costs) for the investment property!!!
At this point whenever they are ready to close, so are we. This was easily the biggest single amount in one of the goals for this year (or that we have saved ever), so this is a happy moment. I did not realize how much this stressed me out until I was able to move all the funds into the account and let out a LONG breath. Next time (assuming there is a next time), we will definitely try to have the money all upfront to avoid this level of anxiety in the future.
But, for now, we did it and I’m excited!
