Income Goal Achieved!!!

Coming in right before the end of the year, the income goals were offically met. First and foremost, I have made over $275,000 this year.

This is the most I have ever made in my entire life and there is still more to go. There is a geniune possibilty of me making over $300,000 in gross income this year which my brain is just barely comprehending. This is so huge and amazing.

What’s “helping” me here is that I know this is most likely a one time thing. Given the amount of moving around that the company has had me doing this year, it is highly unlikely that I will be able to duplicate this for 2023. Still, it is an awesome milestone and I am super happy to have achieved it.

Side Note: Gotta love that my brain processes this by thinking it’s a fluke that will never happen again. Imposter syndrome? πŸ€”

On top of this, we also made the gross income goal of $3000 for the rental. Obviously, we didn’t net this since we still have the mortgage and expenses to take out, but it’s still cool nonetheless. 😊

So, here’s to a huge goal for 2022 being met. Hope to update on a couple more before the year it out.

How are your 2022 goals looking?

  1. Huzzah!! Hooray! I hope you’re surprised and this happens again next year and the year after that!!! 😁 (My brain does the exact same thing.)

I hit our mega stretch investing goal this year, which is also a laugh because at the same time, the dollar amount we’re ending the year with looks like I only invested about 10% of what we contributed. Whatcha gonna do. 😝 I feel like I should just be happy for hitting the goal even if it looks like the money evaporated but I’ll settle for feeling neutral. I can check that box.

    1. lol. I hope so too, but based on what I am seeing, it is unlikely. We’ll see though.
Yay for hitting your goal, but I totally get feeling neutral about it. Only because of the rental did I not go all in on stock/index funds this year. Seemed to have lucked out with that, but who knows since rentals are rentals.
